The big news is that I have found gainful employment as a Research Associate at the University of Maryland's Center for Innovation. The job search had many twists and turns. After we decided that Katie should accept the offer from the Department of Justice, I focused my search on the DC area. I was lucky to have two very good offers, and I thought working with Jerald Hage at the Center was a great opportunity. We're working on a very interesting research project for the Department of Energy, and I'm sure you'll hear more about it in the coming months.
Despite the newfound success of U of M on the gridiron, I will forever be a Hawkeye. So even though I will be surrounded Terrapins, I will be rooting for the Hawks to defend their Big Ten championship this fall. Go Hawks!
And the dissertation continues to move along.
