Information Network (IRIN)
The Integrated Regional Information Network (IRIN), a unit of the
UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), is
dedicated to improving the information available to the humanitarian
and international communities on crises in sub-Saharan Africa.
Operation Crossroad Africa
Operation Crossroads Africa is a U.S.-based, private voluntary organization that sponsors cross cultural exchanges and small-scale development projects in Africa and the Diaspora. Since 1957, the organization has sent over 10,000 persons to 35 African
and 12 Caribbean national to spend a summer working with and for grassroots communities.
