THE INTERNET NEWSLETTER OF THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OF BLACK ENGINEERS AND SCIENTISTS

*****|Call for Articles and News|***** June 20, 1993

Greetings. I am preparing the next issue of INTERNEWS (Vol 1 No.4). I am seeking articles and information of general interest to the Black technical community including but not limited to:

New Publications by Black Engineers and Scientists. Software and Hardware reviews, solutions and Reports. Conference announcements and calls for papers. Inter-organizational news (NTA, NOBCChE, NSBE-AE etc). Internet information or advice. Job listings. Research and Educational Grant information. RFP's. PSAs. Individual achievements (Awards, grants, PhDs earned etc). Professional Development Information. Black Professional Network news. Brief profiles or biographies on Black technical professionals and Black owned technical businesses. NCBES MEMBER COUNCIL NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! etc... I think you get the general idea.

Length of Articles:

If you submit an article (which you are encouraged to do), please try keep it to five paragraphs if possible.(if you do submit and article and it is printed, you will get the by-line, no money though).

Please send submissions and information to: GEOBRO@delphi.com

Though INTERNEWS is transmitted via internet, it is our hope that it will be downloaded, printed and distributed to individuals beyond the mailing list.

I have received some excellent information so far. Thanks go to NSF and JPL. I look forward to YOUR input as well. The dead line this month is June 28, 1993.

Sincerely, George Brooks, Jr. Acting Editor INTERNEWS GEOBRO@delphi.com
