April 5. Workshop. Marguerite Dorn (Suffolk Univ. Law School) and Jane Rocamore (former field officer in Rwanda for the UNHCR) will run a workshop on the International Criminal Court and Human Rights in Rwanda. Dood Center, 2:45-3:45 p.m. This will be part of a Conference on the International Criminal Court that will take place at the Dodd Center from 1:30-5:00 p.m.

April 7. Film. Zan Boko (Burkina Faso, 1988). Monteith 143. 6 p.m.

April 10. RETITEMENT RECEPTION FOR PROFESSOR BERNARD MAGUBANE. Professor Magubane has been a member of the Dept. of Anthropology from 1970-1997. He has had a distinguished career as a scholar and his life has been completely intertwined with the liberation movement in South Africa. In addition to various testimonies, Professor Magubane has agreed to make some remarks on his career at the University and his life in the liberation struggle. African American Cultural Center, 4:00 p.m. A reception will follow the program. All are Welcome.
