AFRICAN COMMERCIAL BIBLIOGRAPHY

These publications are produced in the United States, Europe, and Africa, but many are available in public or university libraries throughout the United States.

In addition, the National Trade Data Bank (NTDB) provides extensive economic and commercial information collected by the International Trade Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce and 17 other federal agencies. The information is released monthly on Compact Disc-Read Only Memory (CD-ROM), and is available at more than 800 federal depository libraries. The NTDB is also available by subscription. Foreign Economic Trends Reports and Overseas Business Reports . Foreign Economic Trends (FET's) are prepared annually by U.S. diplomatic posts in Africa to summarize economic policies and developments in African countries. Overseas Business Reports (OBR's) are prepared on an occasional basis on selected African countries by Country Specialists in ITA's Office of Africa. They summarize country policies, regulations, and the operating climate for foreign business enterprises in African countries. Both publications are available on the National Trade Data Bank.
