Announcing the publication of a new magazine that libraries might consider adding to their collections of journals and publications:

"African World: The Forum of People of African Descent"

Founding publisher and president: Bartholomew Nnaji, professor of industrial engineering and operations research at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. From Sept. to Nov. of this year, Nnaji was Minister for Science and Technology in the interim government of Nigeria (before the military coup).

Editor: Okey Ndibe, a graduate student at UMass Amherst and formerly the editor of "African Commentary."
