International Technology Transfer Network

We are interested in exploring what benefits might develop from providing a means for technology transfer organizations and individuals to communicate with one another around the world. We are offering such an opportunity in the form of a hard copy bimonthly newsletter, "Inter - Tech - Net" (ITN). In time, all or part of of ITN may be provided on the Internet, but for now, we are interested in reaching a worldwide network who may or may not be super highway users. This network will include technology transfer professionals from academic, government, industrial and professional service organizations.

ITN will be a forum for its readers to exchange news and ideas, and its content will no doubt change over time. However, there is no intention for the newsletter to be used to market technology - there are established and better means for that task. An effort will be made to make ITN truly international, although it is likely to be more concerned with developed, rather than developing, countries, because there is more technology transfer business transacted in the former.

If you share our view that this exercise in international communication is worthwhile, and you wish to become a member of the network, please send your name and mailing address to me via Email, fax or post. Interested parties will be sent a copy of the first issue of ITN. Network members will be asked to pay $65 ($70 outside the continental US) for six issues of ITN sent by first class/air mail.

This announcement is not intended to violate Internet etiquette concerning advertising.
