- AFRICA HOME AND ABROAD. The AHA Publishing Co. publishes "Africa Abroad," a monthly newspaper of African affairs (launched 1990). - AFRICAN IMPRINT LIBRARY SERVICES. African Imprint receives a wide variety of original publications (in many languages) from African presses on a regular basis from their purchasers based in African countries. Catalogues are constantly updated. In addition, it is possible to request a specific African publication, and Africa Imprint purchasers will try to obtain that item for you. - U.S. UNIVERSITY AFRICAN STUDIES PROGRAM- Newsletters. Most universities with African Studies Centers publish regular newsletters that may list grants, funding sources and job opportunities. Many such programs also have Outreach Centers that offer a variety of materials for use with classes and community groups. In-service positions are often available.
