The Cartographic Modeling Lab (CML): The CML is a joint venture of the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Design and the School of Social Work, specializing in GIS and spatial analysis. The CML is involved in a wide range of funded research projects that study the role of the environment in public health, education, crime and social services.
Links with Philadelphia: local practitioners who teach in the program and can
serve as mentors, helping students find internships, part-time employment and
jobs after graduation.
