Master of Urban Spatial Analytics
Admissions
Students applying to the Program must hold a bachelors degree and have an excellent academic record (3.0 or higher). Working professionals with 3-5 years of professional experience will be asked to submit professional recommendations, a professional resume, and an essay describing their interests and experience. Applicants with fewer than three years of professional experience or exceptional recent college graduates will be required to submit GRE scores in addition to the aforementioned application materials.
Evaluation of Applicants
Applicants are evaluated according to the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and strong academic record
- Completion of prerequisite courses relevant to your proposed professional concentrations
- Three letters of recommendation from faculty, supervisors, or professional colleagues addressing academic abilities and professional achievement
- Performance on the Graduate Record Exam (not required for submatriculants or applicants with three or more years of professional experience)
- TOEFL scores for non-native speakers of English
- Written statement of career objectives and reasons for choosing the Masters of Urban Spatial Analytics Program at Penn
- Candidate's proposed course of study
