Transfer Credits

Approval of course transfer credit from another institution or from another school at Penn is initiated by writing a request, listing the courses to be reviewed and approved. A student needs to submit this request, along with course descriptions and an official transcript, to the graduate group chair. After the graduate chair signs the Transfer of Credit Form, it is sent to the Office of the Graduate Division of the School of Arts and Sciences for the approval of the Associate Dean for Graduate Education and posting onto the student's transcript.
