The Center for Africana Studies has an extensive commitment to research by its faculty, graduate and undergraduate students. The Center currently houses two faculty research projects – The Socio-Spatial Study of Philadelphia, a comprehensive research and training program on racial inequality in the City of Philadelphia and the Africana Media Projet, a digital archive related to the global black experience.
