Public Interest Anthropology
(PIA) is a four-field program of teaching, research and action within the Department of Anthropology for those interested in bridging the divide between the academic and the public. It draws on archaeology, cultural anthropology, linguistics and biological anthropology for the public interest, to address social issues and to promote change. Read more:
