My research seeks to understand the epistemic value-gap between stakeholders of cultural heritage, including indigenous peoples, museum professionals, and the public. In particular, I am interested in how colonizers objectify and how colonized subjectify the same cultural heritage. My background is in compliance work with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA 1990) for universities, museums, and the military.
