Sam Larson

Research Interests:

My name is Sam Larson and I am a Masters student here at the University of Pennsylvania in the Anthropology department studying primatology under Eduardo Fernandez-Duque. I am particularly interested in the evolution of social behaviors and the use of social network analysis to look at animal population structure and the behaviors through which animals modify this structure to construct the niches in which they live. This past summer I conducted my field research on the island of Cayo Santiago on a population of free ranging Rhesus Macaques, and I plan to graduate this coming year.
