The Penn Bifocal is published by The College of Liberal and Professional Studies at the University of Pennsylvania.

Would you like to contribute to the Bifocal? All members of the Penn community—faculty and students alike—are welcome to submit stories and ideas. Everything is grist for this particular little mill. Brevity will be its soul, though longer submissions can be published in serial form. Our goal is to focus on our community—our professors and students, potential students, alumni, and their families—and in the process illustrate why a liberal arts education at Penn is different, and why it is valuable.
