SAS General Meeting Maker Server
Meeting Maker is a personal and group scheduling software application. Some of the main features allow you to:
- See when co-workers and meeting locations are available.
- Send out, accept, or decline invitations.
- Set reminders.

Installation Instructions

Please note that the software can only be installed when running with administrative rights on the computer. Contact your Local Support Provider (LSP) with any questions. See below for links to installation directions.
Configuration Instructions

If when logging in for the first time you do not see SAS General listed as the server, please follow the instructions below.
Proxy Directions

To give other users read or read/write proxy rights to your calendar:
- Click on Proxy.
- Select Share Calendar.
- On the list on the left, choose Users from the drop down menu.
- On the list on the left, select the person to whom you want to give read or read/write proxy rights.
- Click on read only or read/write.
- Click OK.
Note: The person to whom you assigned new proxy rights must restart Meeting Maker to be able to proxy your calendar.
To remove someone's rights to read or write to your calendar:
- Click on Proxy.
- Select Share Calendar .
- Select the name in the right scroll box.
- Click Remove.
To edit your Favorite Proxies List
- Click on Proxy.
- Select Edit Favorite Proxies.
- To add names to your Favorite Proxies list: select the names from the Available Proxies list on the left and click on Add.
- To delete names from your Favorite Proxies list: select the names from your Favorites Proxies list on the right and click on Remove.
- Click OK.
Operating System Compatibility

Please note that if your computer's operating system is Windows 98/2000/XP/2003 or Mac OS X 10.1 and above, you can use the native and web clients. If your computer's operating system is Linux, Solaris, or Mac OS 8.x/9.x/10.0, then you can only use the web client. (There are no native clients for these operating systems.)
Web Access to MM

You can access your calendar at the following site: https://webcalendar.sas.upenn.edu/sasgeneral. Web access is the only method that can be used for those using the Mac OS9, Linux, and Solaris operating systems.
Synching with Palm Compatible Devices

Personal digital assistants (PDAs) compatible with the Palm operating system (OS) are the recommended and supported devices to synch with the Meeting Maker server. It may be possible to synch devices with the server that are not compatible with the Palm OS (such as Windows CE and Blackberry), but SAS Computing does not recommend or support doing so. If you are interested in synching your PDA with the Meeting Maker server, please contact your LSP.

- Server Name to use when configuring Palm Hot Sync: SAS General
- Server Network Protocol: SSL
- URL for Web access: https://webcalendar.sas.upenn.edu/sasgeneral
