What is on the [SETTINGS MENU]?
If you connect directly to mail.sas
via telnet or ssh, typing settings
at the [MAIN MENU]% prompt will bring you to a menu where you can make
configuration changes to your mail.sas account. (You can also make these
changes via the SAS Account
Configuration page.)
The Settings Menu will display something like the following:

Use ' on' to enable a setting, ' off' to disable it,
and ' edit' to change the text associated with a setting.

For more information on the features of the Settings Menu, select any of
the below items:

your mail.sas password |
| forward on |
- enables mail forwarding to another valid e-mail address. |
| vacation on | - enables
an automatic response message from your account. |
| signature on | - adds a
personal footer to your outgoing mail or news postings. |
| makehome | - Create or
add a personalized homepage on the World Wide Web. |
