Windows Live ID's are used for logging into Microsoft tools and web sites. If you use the Penn Live email service, you already have a Windows Live ID - the username is your full SAS email address and the password is your Penn Live email password.

If you are currently an SAS student and do not use Penn Live, you can create an Windows Live ID without using Penn Live to manage your SAS email by going here.

If you are not an SAS student and need a Windows Live ID, you can create a standard Hotmail account and use that address and its password as your Windows Live ID. This is a good option for faculty and staff who would like to collaborate with each other or with students using a tool that requires a Windows Live ID.
