Multi-Media Services Equipment Loan

Multi-Media Services lends portable audio, video and projection equipment for instructional use. Available equipment includes: video cameras, VCR's, monitors, audio CD players, tape recorders, and portable PA systems and projectors.

Please note that we may not be able to fullfill requests made with less than 2 days advance notice.

Students may borrow equipment for SAS courses only with written authorization of the instructor and subject to the terms of our equipment loan policy for students.

For some classes, the instructor has made provisions for students to borrow portable recording equipment. If you're in one of those classes, and have been directed to do so by your instructor, please go to http://fusion.sas.upenn.edu/eqdb to check availability and reserve equipment.

Instructors can contact mms-help to make arrangements to allow their students to borrow audio and video recording equipment for class related assignments.

Loans to faculty and staff should use the general equipment loan request form.

There is no charge for equipment loan services for SAS classes. However, charges are applied for events not related to SAS classes. The Multi-Media Services Rate Sheet is available here, but prices are subject to change. Charges may be applied if the services provided fall outside normal Multi-Media Services operating hours, or require media supplies (audio/video tapes, CDs, DVDs,

Most loans to faculty and staff require a departmental budget code to cover loss or damage even in cases where there are no equipment rental charges. Fill out all the fields, have your business administrator sign it, then fax it to us at (215) 573-2174.
