Multi-Media Services Facilities

Multi-Media Services includes 3 computer labs, and 4 other special purpose rooms. Faculty and staff may reserve computer labs for classes and other academic events. Students may use the labs on an unreserved, walk-in basis whenever they're not scheduled for class. Please check the lab schedule for availability.

and students may reserve the special purpose rooms for academic

Language Lab |
This
lab includes 24 Windows workstation, along with special capabilities
for language instruction. Courses for the English Language Programs
have scheduling priority for this lab. |

PC Lab #1 |
This lab is equipped with 20 Windows workstations, plus one for the instructor, and a projection system. . |
| MIDI Music Lab |
10 workstations; 6 Windows XP, 4 dual-boot Windows/Mac. This lab does not have a projection system. |

Multi-Media Resource Room # 1 |
MMR I features non-linear editing software, along with DVD, miniDV, and SVHS capabilities. DVD authoring is also available. Allso available, create OS X or Windows XP screencasts, podcast authoring, scanning, and solo video conferencing (Skype, iChat & h.263 IP based calls using Polycom PVX.) |

ASL Recording Room |
This
suite features a Digital Camera and DVD recorder along with a monitor.
You can record yourself or a small group directly to DVD. The room is
primarily used by students in American Sign Language courses. |
