Lynda.com Now Available to Penn Community

Lynda.com is an online training service that provides instructional videos covering a wide range of software products, technologies, and business topics. Information Systems and Computing is pleased to announce that Penn has expanded its agreement with Lynda.com to include all enrolled students. Lynda is also available to full-time faculty and staff.

Access to Lynda.com is available 24/7 from your desktop or mobile device, allowing you to learn at your own pace and schedule. To access Lynda.com at Penn, go to http://lynda.upenn.edu and sign in using your PennKey and password. The following faculty and staff are authorized to use Lynda.com. 

  1. All regular (not temporary) employees who are either full-time, part-time or Disability, Retirement, and Worker’s Compensation with a current job in these personnel classes:
    Faculty, Executive Pay, Administrative/Professional, Support Staff, Unionized
  2. All retired faculty with a current job in the job class ‘880006’ (FACULTY EARLY RETIREMENT)
  3. All living regular (not temporary) faculty who are either full-time, part-time or Disability, Retirement, and Worker’s Compensation in the faculty class ‘EMF’ (Emeritus Faculty) without a current job.
  4. All living regular (not temporary) faculty who are either full-time, part-time or Disability, Retirement, and Worker’s Compensation in the faculty class ‘SUP’ (Support Faculty) without a current job.
