Submitted by jtreat on October 22, 2012 - 8:52am.
The Weigel Information Commons (WIC) is hosting their annual symposium on Engaging Students Through Technology this Friday, October 26. The theme of this year's symposium is “Inside Out: Using Technology to Enhance Classroom Interactions.”
The 2012 symposium explores ways to engage with your students at a deeper level:
- How can social media enhance your face-to-face interactions with students?
- How can video and collaboration tools help your students demonstrate their mastery of concepts?
- How can tech tools free up valuable class time for you and your students, and what can be done with this time?
The symposium will include a faculty panel, a student panel, lunch and an unconference-style afternoon where participants propose sessions.
