Request Form for Canvas is Available
An online form to request Canvas course sites is now available. You can access the form at https://dla.library.upenn.edu/siterequest/ or by going to the Libraries’ Courseware home page (http://www.library.upenn.edu/courseware/) and looking for the Course Request Form link on the menu on the left of the page.
After the request is approved and your site is created, you will be able to log in and start working in Canvas.
Many of you already know that Canvas will replace Blackboard as the primary learning management system at Penn. The transition proceeded through the 2013-2014 academic year. Blackboard will no longer be available after 5:00 p.m. on May 30, 2014. Please see the July 16th announcement in the Penn Almanac for additional information about Canvas.
- Canvas sites will not be automatically created for all courses at Penn. Sites will only be created on request from the instructor or their delegate (e.g. teaching assistant). Use the form at http://www.library.upenn.edu/courseware to request your site.
- Canvas workshops and walk-in support are available. See http://wic.library.upenn.edu/wicshops/canvas.html for details.
