New Blog About Technology and Pedagogy

["Engaging Students Through Technology]

Engaging Students Through Technology is a new blog that's available to faculty and others at Penn.  The name of the blog clearly reflects its purpose - we want to help promote ways in which technology can get students more involved in their education.

Lisa Minetti (Curriculum Design and Assessment Specialist for the College of Liberal and Professional Studies) and Anu Vedantham (Director of Weigle Information Commons) put this blog together to promote better understanding of the intersection of technology and pedagogy.  Other contributers include:

  • Amanda Chudnow, Courseware Support Librarian, University Libraries
  • Ed Dixon, Foreign Language Technology Coordinator, SAS Computing
  • John MacDermott, Director of Instructional Technology, SAS Computing
  • Elizabeth Scheyder, Senior Instructional Technology Specialist, SAS Computing
  • Anu Vedantham, Director, Weigle Information Commons, University Library
