Statistical Software - SCG has particular expertise
with SAS, Stata, GLIM, SUDAAN, Gauss and EViews. Analysts are
also skilled programmers in FORTRAN, Pascal, C and Java.
Complex Data Sets - SCG analysts have extensive
experience manipulating and reformatting complex data sets. Analysts
routinely manipulate multilevel and multiwave data files.
Databases - SCG analysts design and maintain
databases. Analysts have created web-interfaces for databases.
Sampling - SCG analysts have provided researchers
with sampling information for proposals. Analysts also have experience
with software to estimate models and standard errors given complex
sampling.
Numerical Methods - SCG analysts have used numerical
methods to write programs to estimate models that fall outside
the bounds of standard statistical packages.
