SAS Computing has introduced a new service which allows students to print directly from their own computers to networked printers in McNeil Building, DRL and Fisher Bennett Hall.

Identity Finder is software that can find personal information, such as Social Security numbers and credit card information, that is stored on a personal computer. Penn has licensed Identity Finder to help users find and protect this kind of data.

In response to the increasing number of SPAM messages being sent to SAS faculty and staff email addresses everyday, SAS Computing has implemented a new, state-of-the-art SPAM-filtering system on the facstaff.sas email server, SAS Spam Shield.

Engaging Students Through Technology is a new blog that's available to faculty and others at Penn.  The name of the blog clearly reflects its purpose - we want to help promote ways in which technology can get students more involved in their education.

2008 has been a very busy year for the Classrooms Committee and everyone who helps support Penn's Central Pool Classrooms.
