This fall, the Weigle Information Commons (WIC) at Van Pelt Library offers a series of "WICshops". These workshops are open to Penn students, faculty, and staff. They cover such topics as PowerPoint, Photoshop, and audio and video editing. Topics for instructors include Blackboard basics and the Blackboard grade center.
WIC also offers a series of How-to WICshops for faculty on Fridays this fall. These Faculty Fridays cover Zotero, PowerPoint, Final Cut Pro, Google productivity, podcasts, blogging, and virtual worlds such as Second Life. More information is available in an Acrobat (PDF) file.
All of these workshops are open without registration fees unless otherwise noted. To reserve a seat, it's a good idea to sign up online.
