Workstation Services (WKS) provides support to SAS faculty, staff and students for multiuser/multitasking servers and workstations (eg. DEC, HP, IBM, SGI, Sun) used for research and instruction. WKS operates many systems including mail.sas (electronic mail and general purpose timesharing machine), the SAS web server and the SAS Oracle database server. WKS writes and maintains software and distributed applications that run on a wide variety of UNIX systems and some non UNIX systems.

• Sun Microsystems Sun Scholar Pak Software Program. Solaris. Products and Solutions.

• WKS operates mail.sas, the School's primary email and general purpose timesharing computer system.
• Faculty Consulting.
• WKS hosts the African Studies Web.
• WKS operates servers for: Department of Art History, Center for the Computer Analysis of Texts (CCAT), Department of English, Department of History, Department of Mathematics. and Department of Philosophy.
