General Support

Course Problem Notices

Through Courses in Touch, instructors can send a notice to students who seem to be having trouble in their course.  These notices also go to the College Office.  

CaseNet

CaseNet staff help faculty find the appropriate academic support resources for students having difficulties.  Staff will follow up with students to make sure that they get the proper assistance.
Counseling and Psychological Services(CAPS)

Students with concerns of a personal, emotion, social, or  educational nature may visit CAPS for help and guidance free of charge.

Academic Support

Weingarten Learning Resources Center

Professional instruction in skills such as academic reading, test taking, and study strategies.

Tutoring Center

A variety of subject-specific peer tutoring services to supplement support from faculty, TAs, and instructors.

Critical Writing Center

Provides expert help in writing from experienced graduate and undergraduate students.

Communication Within the Curriculum(CWiC)

Helps students express themselves orally with clarity and confidence.

Language Direct

Provides tutoring for foreign languages.

Penn Online Research Tutorial (PORT)

Step-by-step guide through the research process.

Reference Services

Reference librarians are avaialbe to support students at any step of their research projects.

Technology

Weigel Information Commons Offers students tutoring in use of digital media as well as technology rich group study rooms.  Weigel can also provide customized programs for your classes.

Computer Support for SAS Students

Describes a wide range of support services from using a PennKey to creating a personal web page.
