Speaking Fellows-TAs
Graduate students serving as teaching assistants in courses affiliated with CWiC are eligible to participate in CWiC's Speaking Fellows program. This program supports graduate students' development as teachers by helping them explore ways to use speaking assignments to teach course content and critical thinking. Working with their professor and CWiC's Assoicate Director, TAs in affilitaed classes direct oral assignments in their classrooms. Speaking Fellows also participate in teacher-development workshops faciliated by CWiC's Associate Director. Fellows receive a stipend of $500 a semester.
