Emerging Scholar Talks:
The CWiC Emerging Scholar Talks (CWiC-EST) honors students with both strong research projects and superior speaking abilities by providing those students with a public forum in which to talk about their academic work. All undergraduates are invited to apply for this speaking and research prize. The CWiC-EST editorial board will select students to include in the series and work with those students to hone their presentations. Because student speakers communicate their work to a broad audience, the series offers participants and audiences a chance to share ideas across disciplinary bounds and to explore various research projects in terms that matter for the Penn community at large.
Applications for CWiC-EST are due December 18th, 2006.
For information about joining the CWiC editorial board or submitting a talk to the Emerging Scholar Talks, contact CWiC at cwic@sas.upenn.edu.
