GEOL 205: Paleontology
 
 
Penn's Paleontology course is designed to introduce students to the geologic history of invertebrates and their inferred life habits. Paleoecology, evolution, paleobotany and vertebrate paleontology are also discussed.
 
 
Laura Mitterman ('03) examines shells on the beach at Island Beach State Park. Students examined shells for fossil preservation potential.
