About our Majors
Undergraduates in the Department of Earth & Environmental Science have diverse backgrounds and interests and have participated in a wide variety of activities including Internships and Study Abroad. Many of our students have received Awards for Research and Leadership.
In addition, the Environmental Studies major requires that each student undertake a Curriculum Related Practical Experience which can be satisfied in a number of ways: students may choose to do an Internship which combines the Environment with their concentration; they may participate in a Study Abroad Program; they may volunteer in the community or abroad; or they may obtain a paid position working in an environmental field.
