Managing water resources under “normal” conditions is difficult enough given the diverse set of growing water demands, expanding discharge needs and uncertainty in “typical” weather patterns. When we add new water demands and discharge scenarios along with a rapidly changing climate, the level of uncertainty increases immensely and challenges the water professional’s ability to sustainably manage the resource. In this seminar we will explore the state of water management in these rapidly changing times and review options for management.
