Abstract: This seminar will address major accomplishments and emerging problems with American water institutions. The discussion will include institutions at the local, state, regional, federal, Bi-National and International level and focus on issues of regional development, environmental management, economic efficiency, conflict resolution, water law, and professional leadership.

Some comparisons with water institutions in Europe will be drawn.
