Masters Programs

Professional Masters Degrees are available in Environmental Studies and Applied Geosciences.  These programs are administered by the College of Liberal and Professional Studies and designed for both full and part-time students interested in professional careers.  Program Directors and advisors are located in the Department of Earth and Environmental Science.

Master of Environmental Studies
This program offers a multidisciplinary approach to the study of the environment.  Courses are offered across the University and include viewpoints not only from the natural sciences, but also from the social and biomedical sciences, humanities, engineering, law and business.

Master of Science in Applied Geosciences
This program is designed for individuals seeking technical expertise in environmental geology, hydrology, geochemistry and geophysics needed for professional careers.
