The University of Pennsylvania English Language Programs (ELP) offers instruction in English as a second or international language and exposure to the cultures of the United States. We serve adults whose purpose is to learn English for a variety of social, professional, academic, or personal reasons.
We also offer testing, consulting services, and cross-cultural training. In addition, we contribute to the ESL profession as a whole by our work as researchers, presenters, and educators. More»

"I had the best time! I will always affectionately remember my experience at the ELP. I have so much to say about this program, but I would rather have you experience it yourself. I am certain that you will find it to be a tremendous experience as well." - Ricardo Maldonado, Venezuela IP/SIP, Spring 2002
