International Relations and Marketing Specialist

Amy Miller

Amy Miller joined the ELP in 2008 as the International Relations and Marketing Specialist. As such, she is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy in order to recruit new students from various international markets. In addition, she supervises the creation of ELP publications, advertising and website management.

Prior to joining the ELP, Ms. Miller completed her Masters of Science in Higher Education Management at the University of Pennsylvania's Graduate School of Education (GSE). During her graduate studies, her research focused on the experiences of international students and students of color at colleges and universities in the United States. Additionally, while pursuing her degree, she worked as a Student Affairs Assistant at GSE, where she coordinated extra-curricular and co-curricular events, as well as advised 19 student organizations in their programmatic efforts.

In addition to her Masters degree in education, Ms. Miller earned a B.S. in Strategic Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. Upon graduating, she worked for several years in the private sector, as a Media Relations Specialist in the entertainment, fashion and beauty industries, including a position at Fortune 500 company in New York City.

Ms. Miller's interest in international education is a direct result of her upbringing. As the daughter of a US military serviceman, she was raised in various cities around the world, including Daegu, South Korea, Tokyo, Japan, New York City and Los Angeles to name a few. While living abroad, she tutored elementary and middle school students in conversational and written English.
