Position:

Administrative Assistant

Bethany Hall

Bethany Hall joined the ELP staff in May 2008 as an Administrative Assistant in the Main Office. Recognizing the value of the time she spent abroad, Ms. Hall desired to contribute to the development of such opportunities for others.

As an undergraduate at Boston University, Ms. Hall had the opportunity to participate in two unique international programs. Through a semester-long study and internship program, she worked with single-mother asylum seekers in Dublin, Ireland. While studying with the International Honors Program, she travelled for four months through India, New Zealand, Mexico and the Navajo Nation living with tribal communities and discussing contemporary indigenous issues. During her undergraduate years, she also worked as an office assistant for Boston University’s International Programs and for the BU-affiliated International Honors Program.

After graduation Ms. Hall returned to Oaxaca, Mexico for three months. Previously, she was working as a facilitator of group therapy for low-income, chronically mentally ill persons at a community mental health center and volunteering with North Philadelphia’s Sin Fronteras’ ESL program.
