Administrative Assistant
Blake Lipsett joined the ELP in August 2007 as an Administrative Assistant and currently supports the ELP in staff recruitment, scheduling, facilities management and special projects.
Ms. Lipsett received her B.A. in English from Columbia University and her Master of Philosophy in Anglo-Irish Literature from Trinity College, Dublin Ireland. Her interest in cultural exchange and sustainable development led Ms. Lipsett to live and work at the American Farm School in Greece, in New Zealand and in France. Before receiving her Masters, she worked for the City of New York and assisted at the PEN American Center during the 2005 launch of the first annual PEN World Voices Festival of International Literature in New York City.
Immediately prior to joining the ELP, Ms. Lipsett directed leadership and social action programs at Pendle Hill Quaker Center outside of Philadelphia for two years. After visiting community organizations involved in sustainable development work in south India in 2007, she became a teaching assistant in the English as a Second Language program at Nationalities Service Center in Philadelphia.
