How do I set up a bank account?

Information will be provided to you during orientation. There are several banks in the area that are very experienced in working with ELP students and can easily arrange accounts for international students.

Where are the banks and when do they open for exchange?

Banks are usually open from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Monday to Friday, but some have longer hours and may be open on Saturday. These banks will likely charge a small fee to cash travelers checks. The following banks are very close to campus:
