Kara Bundy

Kara Bundy joined the ELP in 2005 as the Marketing Coordinator.  Ms. Bundy is responsible for working with senior staff and Coordinators to develop marketing strategies, targeting specific international market segments. She is responsible for ELP publications, advertising and website management.

Through electronic communications, mailings, phone contact and travel, she also recruits and develops relationships with international agents and representatives. Locally, Ms. Bundy collaborates with Student Services, Main Office staff and other ELP and Penn departments in order to ensure consistent marketing and program delivery.

Prior to joining the ELP, Ms. Bundy worked in both the corporate and non-profit sectors managing personnel, operations and marketing. Ms. Bundy developed her love for language and the international experience as an undergraduate at Goucher College in Baltimore, MD. Through a Presidential Research Scholarship and a National Security Education Program Scholarship, she studied in South Africa, Argentina (where she tutored students in English language skills) and St. Croix. The research she conducted in those regions as well as in the mainland US was synthesized and presented as a theatrical production called "We are the Ones…An International and Interdisciplinary Exploration of Resistance and Otherness."

Ms. Bundy received her B.A. in Individualized Interdisciplinary Studies from Goucher College and went on to serve as a Trustee for Goucher College from 2002-2005.  In 2007 Ms. Bundy received a Certificate in Marketing from the Wharton Programs for Working Professionals.
