Rachael Kinnaird

Rachael Kinnaird joined the ELP in 2005 as the Assistant to the Directors and currently supports several ELP coordinators and oversees part-time administrative staff. She works closely with coordinators to ensure that ELP programs and special projects are successfully carried out.

She holds a BA in English and Spanish from Wheaton College. As part of her undergraduate work, she spent a semester in Costa Rica with the Latin American Studies Program. Ms. Kinnaird later returned to Costa Rica to take graduate courses at the Universidad de Costa Rica through Modern Language Studies Abroad.

Prior to joining the ELP, Ms. Kinnaird worked in a variety of positions, including marketing coordinator and creative consultant, translator and paralegal, and has taught high school English and Spanish in the Dominican Republic.

Ms. Kinnaird is fluent in Spanish and brings to the ELP skills in event planning, media outreach, writing, editing, design and donor and database management.
