Application Requirements
To enroll*, please send:
- A completed enrollment form. Keep a photocopy of this form for your records.
- A photocopy of the page in your passport that shows your name and your date of birth.
- A 2 x 2 inch (5 X 5 cm) color passport style photograph of you (front view, head and shoulders).
- A non-refundable enrollment fee of $90 and a non-refundable tuition deposit of $310, for a total of $400. (This must be in the form of a check or money order drawn on a US bank, an international postal money order, or travelers checks. Make the check or money order payable to the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania. The University doesn't not accept credit cards or wire transfer for enrollment fees and deposit payments.)
- If you need a student (F-1) visa, include an original letter from your bank or sponsor showing you have enough money to pay for all program and living expenses while you are in the US. You need to show us that you will have enough money to pay for your tuition, fees, books, housing, food, and personal items such as clothing and toiletries. If you are coming to the United States alone, we estimate that you will need:
- Intensive Program: $7,900** for every 2-month session you attend
- Super-Intensive: $8,300** for every 2-month session you attend at 22.5 hours/week or $8,700** for every 2-month session you attend at 25 hours/week
- Business Intensive Program: $7,900 **
- University Connection Academic Admissions Package: $26,500 **
- University Connection Academic Admissions Session: $9,650
- University Connection Academic Intensive Session: $7,900
- Conversation and Culture: $4,000 **
- Business and Culture: $4,000**
- Summer Institute for International Business Students: $5,500**
- International Business Communication Program: $5,000**
- Add $550 per month for each person in your family (spouse or children) who will come with you.
Please note that students must be at least 17 years old on the first day of the program. For more information about student visas, click here.
* Enrollment in this program does not constitute admission to any other program at the University of Pennsylvania.

What's Next?
After we receive your materials, the ELP will send you an enrollment packet via courier service. Your enrollment packet will contain:
- An admission letter with instructions on how to get to the University and when and where you should report for the start of your program.
- Form I-20 (if you have requested an F-1 visa).
- Instructions on how to apply for your F-1 student visa. Reminder - All students must pay their SEVIS fee prior to their visa appointment.
Housing
Once you have completed your enrollment, you must apply for housing.
