Tuition and Fees
Prices are valid through Summer 1, 2016; however, tuition and fees are subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania and may change without notice.

* Summer 1 and Summer 2 cannot be combined, as prices change beginning with the Summer 2 session.
* The multi-session discount on tuition and fees applies when a student enrolls and pays in advance for any multiple of 2 or more sessions within the tuition year. For 2 or more sessions, multiply by the total number of sessions [ex. Student attending 2 sessions of the Intensive Program and 1 session of Business Intensive Program: $90 +3($4,009+$483+$214)=$14,200.]
After the initial enrollment, if the student elects to re-enroll, the additional single session will be charged at the full rate.
** The tuition includes a non-refundable deposit of $310, due along with the $90 Enrollment Fee at time of application.
*** All full-time student visa holders (F-1 or J-1) must purchase major medical insurance through the ELP. Download a brochure with information about the insurance to review our insurance policy. Full-time students not on an F-1 or J-1 visa must provide proof of personal health insurance coverage.
The ELP is not able to offer any form of financial aid.
Please note that students are responsible for other expenses such as housing, meals, personal expenses and books.
Prior to the start of classes, students can receive a refund of tuition and fees minus the non-refundable $90 enrollment fee and the $310 tuition deposit. Before the end of the first week of classes, students are entitled to a refund of 75% of tuition less the $90 enrollment fee and the $310 tuition deposit. Fees, insurance and housing are governed by separate policies and may not be refundable depending on when a student withdraws.
If you paid for two or more sessions:
If a student enrolls in multiple sessions and chooses to withdraw from future sessions, the ELP refund policy applies. If their cancellation impacts their eligibility for a multi-session discount, they will be charged the single session rate.
If an emergency occurs, you must write a letter explaining the situation to the Director. A refund or credit may or may not be approved depending on the circumstances. Fees, insurance and housing are governed by separate policies and may not be refundable depending on when a student withdraws.
