English Plus

English Plus at the University of Pennsylvania offers participants the opportunity to study in the Intensive Program at Penn’s renowned English Language Programs, attend lectures by Penn faculty on topics of national and global importance, participate in the academic and social life of a top ranked Ivy League university, and enjoy the history and culture of Philadelphia.

Program Features:

• 8 levels of English instruction: beginning, intermediate, advanced
• 15 hours of class per week
• Placement testing and orientation to Penn and upon arrival
• More than 40 courses: generalEnglish, academic preparation, business English and test preparation
• E-mail accounts and access to the Internet
• Website component for each course that includes learning materials, self-testing exercises, links to additional learning resources, and online discussions with instructors and classmates Certificates of completion
