The English Language Programs has been offering evening courses for students, professionals, researchers and others for over 20 years. All evening courses emphasize in-class practice of language skills and strategies. Out-of-class assignments are limited, making these courses perfect for the busy professional or others with full-time commitments during the day.
Evening courses meet one or two nights per week and are offered for all levels of English proficiency, from beginning to advanced. Courses are typically held in Fisher-Bennett Hall, located at 3340 Walnut Street, from 6:00-8:30 pm. Courses do not meet on University holidays. If a course is scheduled to meet on a holiday, some or all class meeting times will be 6:00-8:55 p.m. to compensate for the class missed.
Evening courses do not carry University academic credit, but certificates are awarded for successful completion of courses.
