Lauren Harold joined the English Language Programs as a lecturer in January 2010 where she taught a variety of courses in the Intensive Program. As she progressed in her career at the University of Pennsylvania, Ms. Harold also began teaching classes in the Business Intensive Program as well as in the International Business Communication Program. She took on the role of Language Specialist in July 2012.
Ms. Harold’s career began at Florida International University in Miami where she taught English as a Second Language at FIU’s English Language Institute. Upon returning to Philadelphia, she began teaching at The University of Pennsylvania’s ELP as well as at Temple University’s Intensive English Language Programs. In addition to teaching in the United States, Ms. Harold also taught English as a Foreign Language at the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in Daejeon, South Korea.
Ms. Harold earned her Bachelor’s degree in history and secondary education from the University of Maryland in 2009. She went on to complete her Master’s in Foreign Language Education/TESOL at Florida International University.
