In the GMAT/GRE Analytical Essay course, your instructor will assign and give daily, individualized feedback on many interactive activities that will help you improve your score on the analytical essay portion of the GMAT or GRE. These activities include question analysis, outlining, and rewriting. You will write 9 timed GMAT/GRE essays and will receive a score and extensive feedback from the instructor on each test. During the course you will:
- learn how to analyze both issue question and argument question types
- develop strategies for organizing both issue and argument question types
- improve editing skills that will help you to identify and correct common errors
- practice skills and strategies that will help you improve your score on the exam
Requirements*:
- TOEFL score of 213 or higher (550 or higher paper-based)
- TOEIC score of 900 or higher
- ALTE level 4 or higher
- Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) or Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)
*If you have not taken one of these exams, the ELP will assess your proficiency via a quick e-mail test.
